چکیده
Failure to adjust the fertilization system quantitative needs, and especially dynamics of mineral demand, causes plant metabolism disorders, low utilization by plant, an increased risk environmental pollution. Additionally, unbalanced may reduce assimilation surface actively involved in photosynthesis, which determines yield potential individual varieties. The aim strict field experiment was determine responses two types maize varieties (Zea mays L.) treatments with different nutrient management systems, as expressed growth analysis active organs during SPAD (soil development) leaf greenness index, green mass yield, unit nitrogen productivity from PFPFN (partial factor fertilizer nitrogen). It demonstrated that total area blades a single LAI (leaf index) value were significantly higher “stay-green” hybrid compared traditional variety. morphological structure hybrid, based on SLA (specific area), indicated highly effective nitrogen, leading faster production larger area, formed basis for absorption solar radiation. selection silage cultivation guarantees high yields. lower biomass intended ensilage can only be reduced applying balanced all nutrients. omission phosphorus (P) potassium (K) dose, regardless variety tested, reducing partial treatment optimally respect dose.

Agrobacterium tumefaciens-mediated transformation is an effective method for introducing genes into maize. In this chapter, we describe a detailed protocol for genetic transformation of the maize genotype Hi II. Our starting plant material is immature embryos cocultivated with an Agrobacterium strain carrying a standard binary vector. In addition to step-by-step laboratory transformation proced...

The effect of twelve different rates of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers on growth and yield of maize (Zea mays L.) in southern Nigeria was evaluated between June and October, 2007. The results of the study showed that application of 120kgN/ha + 0kgP/ha and 60kgN/ha + 40kgP/ha significantly increased the growth of maize than other treatments. The application rate of 120kgN/ha +40kgP/ha signi...
